Blood Oaks is a four piece rock band loosely based on a true story. We draw heavily on many different musical traditions especially old skool punk-rock, country, garage-rock, and classic metal. Right now we're located in Kennesaw, Georgia which is just north of the ATL for those of ya'll that don't know. With lyrics focusing as much on the inevitable apocalypse as the traditional themes found in country and blues, Blood Oaks revels in the Southern Gothic aesthetics of Faulkner and O'Conner.
