Ricer will be RAWKING the Drunken Unicorn on Wednesday, September 28th

PFH Productions presents:

Ricer on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 at The Drunken Unicorn

It's 2011 now and Ricer is set to unleash the follow-up that will make the whole world take notice, not just the Chinese. "XXX+SIZE" expands the Ricer sound while also refining it. From the poppy punk of Switch and Ladyfingers, (think of the band Ricer); to the otherworldly, almost film noirish One on One and Strangers, (not unlike a darker Ricer); to the neo-musique concréte UN/Terror Kids, (like Ricer collaborating with long time noise provocateur Sequence 3); to Bleeder, (think of Ricer crushing your soul & spirit then helping you up so they might crush your conception of listening to anything but Ricer); "XXX+SIZE" has, to borrow the motto of WREK's Destroy All Music, - "something for everyone". China got it in 2010, now 2011 will be the year of Ricer for the rest of the world.

Are you ready? For the future? For the Mad, Heavy....HEAT!!

Calm White Noise are performing first.

Very fresh to the Atlanta music scene is Calm White Noise. The band began to take life in the early months of 2011. Band leader and creator, Dylan Banks, gathered three of the best musicians in the Atlanta area (Ricky Taft, Bill Walker, Andre Griffin) to help turn his visions and ideas into a full functioning entity of marvelous sound waves. Calm White Noise played their first show in Athens, Ga at New Earth Music Hall in April, 2011; since then they have played a few local shows in Atlanta, Ga, but looking to play a lot more in the future. This group brings a unique style to the rising local music scene, pulling influences from rock, experimental, indie, and electronic to create a truly unique sound of their own.

Calm White Noise has a wide spectrum of sounds with emphasis lyrically on the observations one sees though experience, love, fear, and much between. They hope the message brought can reverberate to all here on Earth, and as well, throughout the Cosmos.
